Upper Cold Stream Pond (aka Little Narrows): LINCOLN, ME
                                                                 Things to bring that you might find Useful

  • Coffee and 4" round filters for 12 cup pot
  • Toilet paper, Paper towels, Tall Kitchen-size trash bags, Paper plates and plasticware
  • Food, condiments, drink, cooler and bags of ice.
  • Towels for swimming and shower
  • Soap/Shampoo and other toiletries
  • Favorite Pillow/Blankets (although both are supplied).
  • Bedding for the two cot-size beds and/or two of the couches as needed.   Some people like to sleep to the sound of
    the Loons on the couch in the screen porch.
  • Jackets/Sweatshirts/Raincoats (early mornings can get surprisingly chilly at times)
  • Favorite lounge chairs (although 3 reclining types are provided)
  • Fire making supplies (lighter fluid, matches, saw, etc..) and Marshmellow sticks.   Plenty of fallen timber across road.
  • Your own boat.  The public boat ramp is across the lake. You will see it on at the narrow section of road that passes
    between two lakes just before you turn on our camp road.
  • Favorite life preservers (standard U-shaped adult preservers are supplied)
  • Fishing gear and bait.  Most convenience stores in town will sell worms.
  • Flashlights and lantern for night fishing on dock.
  • Bathing suits, Sun Lotion and Snorkeling Gear (see where the big bass are hanging out ... water is extremely clear)
  • Bug spray, hats, walking shoes, gps/compass.  Wild Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry and Blackberry picking are
    very popular.  Ziplocks are handy for this.
  • Yard games for kids.
  • VHS movies.  Players provided for upstairs and downstairs TVs. Or connect your own DVD player.  Older Nintendo
    set is provided or bring your more modern gaming system.
  • Favorite reading material
  • Wireless Laptop if you have one.
  • Bikes/helmets. Kids can ride on camp road.  Mountain bikes can be used on the trails.
